DP-700 Flashcards ("the app") helps you study for Microsoft certification exams. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what control you have over it. We keep the data we hold to the minimum the app needs to work.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing.

Information you give us

When you create an account, the app collects:

Data	Why
Username	Signing in and identifying your account
Name	Personalising the app
Date of birth	Confirming you are old enough to use the app
Email address	Account recovery and password resets
Password	Stored only as a secure one-way hash — never in plain text and never visible to us

Information created as you use the app

Study progress — which flashcards you have answered correctly or incorrectly, and when you last reviewed them, so the app can track how you are doing.
Account dates — when you signed up and when your free trial ends, so we know your subscription status.

Automatically collected information

Bot protection. Sign-in and sign-up are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you are a real person. Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser or device characteristics to make that check. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Usage analytics and crash reports. We may use analytics and crash-reporting tools to understand how the app is used and to diagnose problems. This data is used only to improve reliability and the study experience — never to build advertising profiles.

How your information is stored

Account data and study progress are stored in a hosted database provided by Supabase, which acts as our service provider. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access is restricted so that you can only read and change your own records.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your profile and study progress are removed immediately and permanently — see below.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time, from inside the app.

Open the app, tap Account in the top-right corner, then tap Delete account and confirm. This permanently removes your profile (username, name, date of birth, email) and all of your study progress. It cannot be undone.

Your rights

You can access and correct your account information in the app, and delete your account and all associated data at any time using the steps above. If you are in a region with additional data-protection rights — such as the UK, EU, or California — you may also request a copy of your data or ask us to restrict how it is used. Contact us and we will respond.

Children

The app is intended for people preparing for professional certification exams and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
